What is an Associate?
Associates provide valuable services as goodwill ambassadors, friend/fund raisers and as financial supporters of the hospital. As an important component of the Development Office, an Associate’s active participation is integral to the success of the program. Luncheon meetings are held the second Monday of the month, September through June. As fund raisers, Associates have been instrumental in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit hospital services. These gifts have resulted from special events, hosted by the Associates, such as the CMMC Spring Gala and the CMMC Fall Golf Classic, Phonothons and its Community Business Drive.
Associates are asked for the following commitment:
- Attend Associate monthly meetings.
- Serve as an ambassador and advocate on behalf of the hospital in the community.
- Participate in at least one Phonothon and the Community Business Drive.
- Be active in an additional standing committee.
What are the benefits?
- At monthly “lunch and learn” meetings you will learn how to take charge of your health and what resources are available to this community.
- Membership, at a nominal fee, at the CMMC Health and Wellness Center.
- Opportunity to help raise funds for patient services, and in turn, providing the highest-quality healthcare, close to home for our families and co-workers.
