Your purchase will help The Dempsey Center to offer education about cancer; community outreach and support, including rural and underserved communities; a wide variety of cancer support group programs; integrative medicine services; a cancer resource library, and much more.

Some of the programs supported through this fund include: Kid's Comfort Pack for a child whose parent has cancer, a wide variety of professionally-facilitated support groups for people affected by cancer; and integrative medicine services, such as massage therapy provided for free or at a reduced cost for cancer patients and family caregivers who would otherwise not be able to afford these services.

15th Annual Fall Golf Classic

September 12, 2007

Our 15th Annual Fall Golf Classic held on September 12, 2007 raised more than $100,000 to support CMMC’s Critical Care Capital Campaign. Please click here for more information on our fundraising efforts to replace our 30-year-old Intensive Care Unit with a state-of-the-art Critical Care Unit.

The day was perfect for the 15th anniversary of our Annual Fall Golf Classic that was held at Martindale Country Club. The golfers played a competitive game of golf and enjoyed warm camaraderie. Golfers were provided with a breakfast buffet, a grilled lunch and were treated to a bountiful reception while perusing a silent auction with over 60 packages to choose from. There was a wide selection of items for bid, everything from ski passes, rounds of golf, gift baskets, hotel packages, restaurant gift certificates and much, much more.
